UIU is incredibly thankful for all charitable gifts received and we want our supporters to maximize the impact of their gift. Over 18 million individuals work for generous companies that offer matching gift programs to their employees. For example, your $50 gift becomes a $100 gift to UIU when an employer provides the match! Unfortunately, only 7% of donors complete the necessary steps to have their gift matched.
Corporate matching gifts are valuable because they are free money for Upper Iowa – and UIU supporters love knowing their gifts went twice as far. Companies offer this perk because it’s a great way for them to support good work in their communities and support nonprofits that are important to their employees.
Two Simple Steps for You to Take Advantage of Matching Gifts:
- Find out if your employer offers a matching gift program and follow the necessary steps to complete the process. If you’re unsure, search for your company below.
- Make a gift to Upper Iowa University. Online gifts may be made at uiu.edu/Give. Be sure you use the drop-down to select your matching gift employer. Detailed information on how to process the match will automatically be emailed to you.
